About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
Our client, a fast-growing multinational and JSE listed business within the Financial Services environment, is seeking a dynamic and relationship focused Customer Success Consultant to join their Johannesburg team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, building long term relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery, and driving client satisfaction and retention within a high-performance environment.
The environment is energetic, social, collaborative, and globally connected, with exposure to international clients and business operations.
They are specifically looking for individuals with strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, commercial awareness, and a proactive personality. Individuals who naturally build rapport, take ownership, and go above and beyond for clients will stand out strongly.
DUTIES:
- Build and maintain strong long term client relationships
- Act as a trusted point of contact for client queries and support
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and engagement
- Assist clients with onboarding, product understanding, and ongoing support
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Conduct regular client check-ins and relationship management activities
- Ensure professional and positive representation of the company brand
- Maintain accurate client records and engagement reporting
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in customer success, client services, account support, relationship management, or customer care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercially aware with strong relationship building ability
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions driven personality
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, client-focused environment
- Strong academic achievements advantageous
- Experience within financial services, recruitment, consulting, SaaS, or professional services beneficial
- Johannesburg based
- Willing to work primarily office based
