About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
A Germany-headquartered company, driven by innovation and growth is looking for a motivated and customer-focused German-speaking Customer Success & Onboarding Agent to join our growing team in Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, building long-term relationships, and helping businesses achieve success through technology. You will be the primary point of contact for new customers,
guiding them through onboarding, training, adoption, and ongoing success.
DUTIES:
- Lead the onboarding process for new customers and ensure a smooth implementation experience.
- Conduct online training sessions, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
- Build strong relationships with customers and act as their trusted advisor.
- Proactively monitor customer engagement and identify opportunities to improve adoption and usage.
- Help customers achieve their goals by recommending best practices and suitable platform features.
- Support customer retention by identifying risks and addressing challenges before they become issues.
- Coordinate closely with Support, Product, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Gather customer feedback and provide insights to internal teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required Skills & Experience
- Fluent German (spoken and written) is essential.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong customer-facing and relationship management skills.
- Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Support, or Onboarding.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
- Comfortable working with cloud-based software and digital platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, technology, e-commerce, digital marketing, or online services.
- Experience working with German-speaking customers.
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Understanding of customer retention and engagement strategies.
