Customer Care Consultant (English & Afrikaans) (CPT Onsite)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic Micro Insurer seeks a highly ambitious Customer Care Consultant whose core role will entail handing Inbound & Outbound calls. You will assist and verify clients with queries relating to their funeral insurance policies, participate in ad hoc Outbound campaigns while auditing application forms. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver who will strive to ensure that clients are addressed in a professional, helpful, and friendly manner. You must have Grade 12/Matric or similar qualification with 1-2 years’ proven experience in Customer Care & Funeral Insurance including proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook. You must have excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Afrikaans.

DUTIES:

Inbound Calls -

• Assist and verify clients with queries relating to their funeral insurance policies.
• Assist clients with product information.
• Answer and assist with overflow Inbound calls, and when needed, transfer call to applicable department.
• Assist with advisor queries.

Outbound Calls -

• Confirmation of funeral insurance policies.
• Verification of client information.
• Ad hoc Outbound campaigns.

General Administration -

• Audit of application forms that have been successfully captured.
• Draft emails to communicate with clients and 3rd parties.

Recordkeeping -

• Keep record of all In-and Outbound calls and the outcome of each call.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric/Grade 12 or similar qualification is essential.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ proven experience in Customer Care & Funeral Insurance.
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Afrikaans is required.
• Additional Language(s) will be advantageous.
