About the position

Our client within the retail and FMCG space is seeking a skilled and diligent Customer and Sales Manager to join their Durban team. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a regional sales management role or key accounts management role within the FMCG space. A tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or business management is required, as well as a valid driver's license. Experience with the big 3 retailers would be advantageous.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Having a strong business acumen (numeric & literacy).
- Ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Responsible for key account management and relationship management.
- The ability to run promotional activities and innovation strategies.
- Have previous exposure to budget and team management.
