About the position
Job purpose:
To drive the development, productization, commercialization, and lifecycle management of CSP/MSP products and services across the business. The role is responsible for translating business capabilities, customer requirements, and market opportunities into scalable, commercially viable solutions while engaging closely with internal stakeholders across technical, operational, commercial, and executive teams.
Critical outputs:
Product strategy and productization:
- Lead the productization of telecommunications and technology services across the organization.
- Translate business capabilities and technical solutions into structured, market-ready products and services.
- Define product vision, roadmap, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, package, and commercialize existing business capabilities.
- Develop and maintain product catalogues, service definitions, pricing structures, and commercial frameworks.
- Ensure products align with market demand, customer requirements, and company strategy.
- Drive continuous product enhancement and E2E product lifecycle management.
- Own all product collateral, Technical and commercial, both internally and externally
Stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration:
- Engage extensively with internal stakeholders across Sales, Technical and Engineering, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, Vendor Management, and Executive Leadership.
- Facilitate collaboration between business units to ensure successful product development and delivery.
- Act as the central coordination point between commercial and technical teams.
- Gather and consolidate stakeholder input to shape product requirements and priorities.
- Present product strategies, updates, and business cases to leadership teams.
Commercial and market management:
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer research.
- Develop business cases and financial models for new products and enhancements.
- Define pricing strategies and profitability targets.
- Support sales enablement through product training, documentation, and solution positioning.
- Assist with customer proposals, tenders, and strategic opportunities.
- Monitor product performance, revenue growth, and customer adoption.
Product delivery and operational alignment:
- Work closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure products are deliverable and supportable.
- Ensure operational readiness for new product launches.
- Coordinate product launch activities across departments.
- Define product processes, service standards, and operational requirements.
- Support escalation management and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Ensure CRM, BSS and OSS integration is complete prior to product launches
Vendor and partner management:
- Engage with vendors, carriers, and technology partners to support product development and delivery.
- Evaluate new technologies and partnerships that support business growth.
- Negotiate product-related commercial and operational requirements where applicable.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in telecommunications, ICT, or technology product management.
- Experience in productization and commercialisation of technology services.
- Strong understanding of telecom and connectivity solutions.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination experience.
