About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
A leading South African investment company is looking for an experienced CRM Developer to join their team in Durbanville, Cape Town. This role will focus on the design, development, customization and optimisation of enterprise CRM solutions. While the organisation's primary platform is Zoho, they are open to candidates with strong development experience on Salesforce, HubSpot or other enterprise CRM platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on CRM Developer with strong API integration, automation and JavaScript skills who enjoys building scalable CRM solutions, improving business processes and leading technical initiatives.
DUTIES:
• Design, develop and maintain CRM solutions and related business applications.
• Configure and customise CRM modules, workflows, automation, custom objects and business processes.
• Develop custom functions, scripts, integrations and APIs.
• Build and maintain REST API, webhook and third party integrations.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Improve CRM processes across sales, marketing, operations and customer service.
• Lead CRM implementation, data migration, cleansing and optimisation initiatives.
• Develop dashboards, reports and analytics for business stakeholders.
• Maintain security, user permissions and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot complex CRM and integration issues.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain development standards, testing and deployment processes.
• Work closely with leadership on CRM strategy and future platform enhancements.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development or a related field.
• Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• 5+ years of CRM experience.
• 3+ years of hands on CRM development experience.
• 2+ years leading CRM projects, technical teams or platform strategy.
• Strong experience with one or more of:
• Strong JavaScript development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks and third party integrations.
• Experience with SQL, JSON and XML.
• Strong understanding of CRM architecture, sales pipelines, customer lifecycle management and business automation.
• Experience with database design, data mapping and system integrations.
• Excellent problem solving, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience producing technical documentation and training end users.
Advantageous
• Zoho CRM or Zoho Creator experience.
• Deluge scripting.
• CRM platform certifications.
• Experience with CRM migrations and platform implementations.
