Creditors Controller at Govender's Garage

About the position

You will form part of a Cape Town team

• With a main focus on processing of daily creditor transactions into Sage Accounting
• Perform monthly creditor reconciliations and ensure escalation of unresolved transactions
• Assist the accountants with any ad-hoc administrative and/or bookkeeping tasks as required
• Interacting with the Pietermaritzburg team, retail point of sale and parts on a daily basis

Required:

• Accounting / Bookkeeping / Reconciliation knowledge
• National Diploma or Minimum 2 years of working experience in a financial environment will be an advantage
• Strong preference given to those who reside in the Southern Suburbs

About The Employer:

Our business is an established, well structured and growing medium sized multi-branch Car Parts retailer in KZN with a specific business and growth plan. The Managing Director and a support team live and work out of Cape Town.

The business is process driven and with checks and balances to reduce risk that the processes don't work as intended. Most processes and admin functions (along with an ops team and administrative staff) occur out of the Natal Head Office. The Cape Town office will both support and have oversight.
