Creditors Controller (Accounts Payable)

About the position

DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSIS
Experienced Creditors Controller required at a well-established agricultural group based in Joostenbergvlakte, Kraaifontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of five years' experience in accounts payable control
• Diploma in Accounting/finance or equivalent
• Financial qualification is advantageous
• Valid driver's license and own transport required

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Process and verify invoices
• Reconcile creditor accounts and manage payment processing (weekly and monthly)
• Complete and manage credit applications
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Handle month-end and year-end processing
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required by management
