Creditors Clerk (Temp)
Area: Parow Industrial, Cape Town
Salary: R22000 p/m
Employment Type: Temp to start immediately

The purpose of this position will be the capture, payment, and reconciliation of creditors. This will require that all credit purchases established procedures are adhered to
Duties:
- Process invoices
- Allocate supplier payments
- Reconciliation of all creditor accounts before payment
- Perform reconciliations against supplier statements and follow-up on any queries.
- Perform reconciliations against supplier statements and follow-up on any queries.
- Matching the Purchase order, delivery note, goods received note and invoice. Make sure that purchases have been authorised correctly with, necessary signatures
- Manage and reconcile petty cash
- Loading new supplier and obtain bank confirmations
- Manage the age payable analysis, and ensure all payments have been allocated correctly.
- Prepare journal entries to rectify payments when necessary
- Prepare payment proposals
- Prepare payment schedules
- Filing of all creditor's documentation

• Analysing month-end reports, (i.e. Age analysis, outstanding invoices)
• Ensuring that all documentation is captured, and reconciliations are done timeously.
• Planning his/her own workload to be able to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with creditors/vendors where required

Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- At least 3-years' experience as a creditors clerk
- Microsoft Office knowledge, excellent excel skills preferred.

• Computer literacy and an understanding of integrated accounting system
• Good understanding of accounting Software preferably Sage 200 Evolution.
• Ability work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Integrity and Trust
• Understanding of creditors cashflow (preferred not required).
• Good commination skills
