Creditors Clerk

About the position

Our client is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their company

Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• A Commerce or Business Management Diploma will be advantageous
• Computer Literacy

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 Years Creditors’ Experience
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Capturing and Processing of invoices into JDE
• Capturing delivery confirmations on Abaca to enable Debtors Clerk to run invoices
• Liaising with new suppliers regarding information required
• Submission of information to Shared Services to have new suppliers loaded
• Raising of purchase requisitions on JDE for all suppliers excluding maintenance purchases
• Receipting against purchase orders, including maintenance purchase orders raised
• Verifying the correctness of invoicing (pricing and increases) before receipting as per above
• Getting management approval on whether the goods or services were supplied to their satisfaction
• Gathering information to supply to some suppliers to have invoices raised
• Completion of Customs Clearing Instructions on Intranet
• Liaising with forwarding Agent with regards to completion of customs clearing documents
• Ensuring that payments to foreign suppliers are accompanied by the correct documentation
• Running and analyzing Abaca reports on all interdivisional purchases for the week, for the Accountant
• Running credit note analysis reports for the previous week and month, for the Financial Manager
• Verifying certain annual increases with the Financial Manager
