Creditors Clerk / Buyer

About the position

Well-established manufacturing company based in Alberton is seeking a Creditors Clerk / Buyer to join their dynamic team.
Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Matric (Grade 12)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role (Procurement / Creditors / Buying)
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (experience with ERP systems advantageous)

Responsibilities:

• Place purchase orders with local and international suppliers
• Follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
• Receive and verify stock and supplier invoices
• Match purchase orders, goods received notes, and supplier invoices
• Process and capture supplier invoices for payment
• Reconcile creditor accounts and resolve queries
• Prepare and submit invoices and supporting documents to accounts for payment
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement and creditor transactions
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting
