About the position
CREDITORS ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Linbro Park, Sandton
Salary: R15 000 - R20 000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Role
A manufacturer is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in creditors, strong accounting knowledge, and relevant tertiary qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture supplier invoices (non-stock) and reconcile supplier statements.
- Approve supplier invoices (stock) and reconcile supplier statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely supplier payments.
- Allocate credit notes to invoices.
- Submit proof of payments and remittances to suppliers.
- Assist the bookkeeper with creditor queries.
- Monitor and validate all invoices for SARS VAT compliance.
- Prepare and submit creditor reports on time.
- Hand over documentation for approval and authorisation.
- Maintain proper filing of all creditor-related communications and transactions.
- Process sales invoices.
- Support the finance team with overflow accounting tasks.
- Perform general admin duties.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Bookkeeping or relevant short courses.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
- Strong accounting knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
