About the position

CREDITORS ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Linbro Park, Sandton
Salary: R15 000 - R20 000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Role
A manufacturer is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in creditors, strong accounting knowledge, and relevant tertiary qualifications.
Key Responsibilities

  • Capture supplier invoices (non-stock) and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Approve supplier invoices (stock) and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely supplier payments.
  • Allocate credit notes to invoices.
  • Submit proof of payments and remittances to suppliers.
  • Assist the bookkeeper with creditor queries.
  • Monitor and validate all invoices for SARS VAT compliance.
  • Prepare and submit creditor reports on time.
  • Hand over documentation for approval and authorisation.
  • Maintain proper filing of all creditor-related communications and transactions.
  • Process sales invoices.
  • Support the finance team with overflow accounting tasks.
  • Perform general admin duties.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Bookkeeping or relevant short courses.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Strong accounting knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
