About the position
We're seeking a Credit Manager to support farmers and businesses across the region while shaping the future of our credit operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full credit process for new, existing, and restructured loans.
- Analyze financial statements and business information to assess risk.
- Mentor and guide Credit Analysts and other stakeholders on credit matters.
- Participate as a voting member in Regional and Provincial Credit Committees.
- Organize committee meetings-prepare agendas, document decisions, and ensure approvals.
- Ensure credit policies are followed and recommend improvements.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, branches, and clients.
- Visit clients and branches to understand business needs and provide guidance.
- Monitor audit findings and report on regional credit performance.
- Manage, plan, and support your team's performance and development.
What You Need
- Relevant 3-year qualification (BCom, BTech, or similar). Bonus: BSc Agriculture with agricultural credit experience.
- 5-8 years' credit management experience, including deal structuring and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of risk, compliance, and Microsoft Office.
