About the position

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Credit Manager to take the lead in managing and guiding high-impact credit decisions for our Corporate Banking and Structured Investment (CB&SI) portfolios.

?? Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and approve complex credit applications within delegated authority
  • Structure bankable solutions for new and existing agri-finance clients
  • Present credit recommendations to high-level committees (PCC, ECC, CIC, Full Board)
  • Act as Secretariat for key credit committees and ensure governance compliance
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure uniform application of credit policies
  • Mentor and manage Credit Analysts and performance outputs
  • Visit clients and structure sustainable credit deals tailored to business needs

?? Minimum Requirements

? A relevant 3-4 year qualification in Commerce, Agricultural Economics, or Accounting
? Proven experience in corporate credit, especially in structured investments
? Strong understanding of agriculture sector finance, credit principles, and risk structuring

  • In-depth knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in deal structuring, credit modelling, and stakeholder engagement
  • Leadership, communication, and performance management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & credit management systems
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours if needed
