Our client specializes in the manufacture of packaging for the personal care, household, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage markets, focusing on bespoke solutions.
They supply the medium to large volumes & standards markets with a wide spectrum of offerings including mould manufacture and maintenance.
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible to manage and maintain the financial health of the organization by ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, minimizing credit risk, and maintaining positive customer relationships. This involves monitoring customer credit, assessing
creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and implementing effective credit control procedures to optimize cash flow and support business sustainability.

Qualification:
- Secondary Education Grade 12
- Tertiary Education (including Diplomas, Certificates and Degrees)
- Tertiary qualification in Credit Control/ Management is strongly preferred
- Experience 5-8 years relevant experience
- Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities:
- Submit request and interact with payment portals.
- Granting of credit to a customer, including liaising with credit bureaus.
- Customer account reconciliations and resolution of queries.
- Capture, monitor and follow up on goods returned notes to resolve credit note queries.
- Create pro forma invoices, capturing orders and processing receipts on the system in accordance with procedures.
- Considering, evaluating and posting credit notes.
- Identify payments in bank, allocate and post.
- Regular reporting on the status of the debtor’s book.
- Working closely with sales department.
- Timely collecting all money owed to the business by its customers.
- Managing late payments/ payment plans/ poor payers and on “on hold” customers.
- Provide supporting information for ad-hoc customer reviews, legal cases etc.
- Responsible for any SARB/ SARS requirements relating to exports
