About the position

Introduction

The collection of credit within the accepted period of settlement in order to maximize the profit

of the company and to ensure the prompt follow-up to all collections procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Dealing with day-to-day queries.
• Releasing of orders.
• Sending out weekly and monthly statements.
• Timeous follow up for non-payment by both telephonically as well as email.
• Prepare debit order run.
• Allocation of payments against respective invoices.
• Perform recons where necessary.
• Weekly meetings with ops.
• Building relationships with the customer.
• Formal weekly reporting of overdues

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric
• A minimum of four years' experience in credit control with a good
• knowledge of Excel.
