One of South Africa's most respected development finance institutions, with offices nationwide, is looking for a Credit Analyst to join its close-knit, high-impact team based in Upington.
As part of a national institution committed to advancing inclusive growth in the agricultural sector, you'll play a vital role in enabling rural development, supporting farmers, and driving economic transformation-one smart loan at a time.

What You'll Be Doing:

This is a role with real responsibility. You'll manage a regional credit portfolio and be hands-on in shaping financing solutions that make a difference, as well as:

• Conduct in-depth credit and financial assessments in the agri-business value chain
• Structure commercially viable and compliant loan solutions for commercial and transformational applications
• Perform portfolio reviews and risk mitigation across new and existing clients
• Guide and support provincial teams on credit matters
• Liaise with Credit Committees, present applications, and ensure policy adherence
• Input into credit policy improvements and future product development

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• A Commerce-related Degree (Accounting, Agri-Economics, Credit Management)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit assessment or financial analysis, ideally in agriculture or commercial lending
• Knowledge of NCA, CPA, FICA and other credit legislation
• Exposure to structuring deals in asset finance, working capital, or value chain finance
• Primary and secondary agriculture sector finance
