About the position
Location: Kroonstad, Free State
Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Credit & Financial Analyst to join a dynamic commercial banking environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial analysis and deal structuring experience, looking to contribute to impactful lending decisions and portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial statements, cash flows, and business cases for lending decisions
- Structure and package credit applications for approval
- Assess risk, collateral, and overall deal viability
- Support portfolio management and client performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive efficient deal execution
Requirements:
- Degree or National Diploma in Finance, Business, Risk, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in credit analysis or lending within a banking/financial services environment
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of credit risk, loan structuring, and financial principles
- Experience working with systems such as SAP/CRM (advantageous)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Additional:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel when required
