Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a leading mining company, is currently seeking a skilled Crane Millwright to join their mining team in Mpumalanga. As a Crane Millwright, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of cranes and related equipment used in mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and inspect cranes and related equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
- Replace or repair defective parts as necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to optimize equipment performance
- Document and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in crane maintenance
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Millwright Trade Test
- 5 years' experience as a Crane Millwright within the mining industry
- Knowledge of crane systems, hydraulics, and electrical components
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, as well as mechanical.
- Familiar with crane manuals, drawings, and specifications
