Sales comes naturally, but you're equally comfortable with administration, stock and the detail required to keep a busy retail environment running smoothly. You're self-motivated, results-driven and remain professional when dealing with challenging customers. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) Become a trusted sales and technical resource, assisting customers both in-store and telephonically. Your day will include counter sales, product advice, processing and picking orders, stock control, supplier orders, cash-ups, banking and general administration. You'll also support daily branch operations and stock counts. You'll enjoy the variety and direct customer interaction, while seeing how your contribution supports sales targets, service standards and smooth operations. Where you'll be doing it You'll join an established business operating in a technical retail environment in East London. Customer service, knowledgeable advice and strong operational standards are central to the culture, with people working collaboratively to deliver a consistently positive customer experience. What you'll need Matric and a valid driver's licence are essential, together with relevant product or technical knowledge within the paint or coatings industry. Strong sales, communication and administration skills are important, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience using an ERP or stock management system would be advantageous, while a Sales or Marketing qualification would be beneficial.
