Cost and Management Accountant CIMA Qualified (Brakpan)

About the position

A leading manufacturer in Brakpan, is looking to appoint a Cost and Management Accountant into their well-established finance team. Reporting directly into the Financial Director. This role would suit a candidate who enjoys working with both finance and non-finance staff and enjoys the exposure to different parts of the business including manufacturing, warehousing and commercial teams. No day will be the same and you will have the opportunity to impact site profitability and efficiency. Completed CIMA NON-NEGOTIABLE and 5 - 7 Years in a similar role non-negotiable.

• Preparing sales and profitability analysis
• Analysing manufacturing variances
• Producing inventory reports
• All areas of accounting around stock including inventory valuations
• Establish recovery rate per machine/products type
• Attending production meetings as and when required
• Forecasting activities alongside the finance team
• Establish standard costs and update as appropriate

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Fully Qualified CIMA (Member)
• At least 5 to 7 Years's experience in a similar role
• Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment (Non-Negotiable)
