About the position
A well established manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Cost Accountant / Financial Analyst to lead the production costing and financial analysis function within a high volume plant environment.
This role requires a strong analytical thinker with manufacturing exposure and the ability to turn financial data into meaningful operational insights.
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting, Finance or Management Accounting
- Completed SAICA, SAIPA or CIMA articles
- Manufacturing or production costing experience essential
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Fluent Afrikaans essential
The Role:
- Manage full production costing and reporting
- Deliver financial analysis and business insights
- Identify cost saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Build financial models and management reports
- Assist with digitisation and internal control improvements
