About the position
Purpose of the Job:
To manage accurate costing, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis while identifying cost saving opportunities and supporting business performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Cost & Management Accounting
- Professional qualification such as CIMA is advantageous
- 3–5+ years experience in cost accounting, manufacturing, or operational finance
- Experience using Syspro & Power BI
Technical Competencies & Experience:
- Develop and maintain costing systems for products and operations.
- Analyze actual costs against standard costs and investigate variances.
- Prepare cost, margin, and profitability reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journals and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with teams on cost allocation.
- Review bills of materials (BOMs) and production processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist with audits by providing cost reports and supporting documentation.
