We are seeking a dedicated Corporate Travel Consultant to join our team in Sandton.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for orchestrating seamless and efficient travel for our corporate clients, who often operate in challenging, remote, and high-risk destinations. Your expertise will be crucial in providing a service that is both reliable and strategic.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically manage and coordinate all aspects of corporate travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and visa processing.
- Develop and execute expert travel solutions for highly complex itineraries, ensuring traveler safety and efficiency in remote or difficult-to-reach areas.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key corporate clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain a current understanding of global travel regulations, industry trends, and technological advancements to provide proactive and informed solutions.
We are seeking a seasoned professional with the following qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of dedicated experience as a travel agent.
- Proven and extensive experience working exclusively with corporate clients. This is not a public-facing retail role.
- In-depth, practical knowledge of the travel industry and proficiency with GDS (Global Distribution System) platforms is essential.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a keen ability to anticipate and solve problems proactively.
- The ability to thrive both independently and as a collaborative member of a high-performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- Salary: Negotiable, with a starting base of R20,000 per month.
- Commission: A competitive commission structure is in place to reward outstanding performance.
