This is more than just a legal role - it's a chance to use your conveyancing skills to contribute to the country's agricultural and economic future. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support property transactions that empower both established and emerging farmers. Every transaction you finalise contributes to national food security, economic inclusion, and land reform.
Drafting and concluding legally enforceable loan and security agreements, including conveyancing and notarial documents.
Handling the full conveyancing process, from conducting Deeds Office searches to registration, in compliance with relevant legislation (e.g. FICA, NCA, CPA).
Collaborating with attorneys, internal deal teams, and clients to ensure smooth, legally sound transactions.
Providing expert legal advice on complex issues including securities, risk mitigation, and legislation such as the Deeds Registries Act, Companies Act, and Land-related laws.
Maintaining client relationships and stakeholder engagement, and ensuring security documentation and account records are accurate and compliant.
Supporting operational teams, guiding internal stakeholders, and helping ensure that the institution's mandate is fulfilled legally and ethically.
LLB degree
Admitted as a Conveyancer and Attorney
4-5 years of conveyancing experience (pre-admission included)
Strong working knowledge of Deeds Office processes and conveyancing law
Excellent report writing, legal drafting, and interpretation skills
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
