About the position
Our client within the commercial construction industry is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager, specifically with ELECTRICAL exposure. Electrical-related construction projects is a MUST in this role. Candidates should also have a completed matric/N3 National Diploma. Alternatively, a BSc in construction or electrical-related field. Candidates must have their Trade Certification (Red Seal - Electrical), as well as their Wireman's License.
The main purpose of this role is to drive optimal financial and operational performance on-site, manage teams and resources in alignment with project needs, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards. Thus, experience in site management or similar construction environment role is vital. Managment of 2-4 commercial sites will include progress reports, managing of resources, material management and liaising with professional teams and main contractors.
