About the position
Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with proven Data Centre construction experience to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial performance, managing contractual obligations, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-value projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple small to medium construction contracts from inception to completion.
- Oversee contract administration, negotiations, amendments, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Build and maintain strong client, consultant, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure projects comply with contractual, legal, SHEQ, and industry requirements.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement across all projects.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and project risks.
- Prepare project reports, forecasts, and documentation for senior management.
- Lead and mentor project teams while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Minimum Requirements
- BSc Degree in Construction Management.
- Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management will be advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years' building experience.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management, and construction law.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Computer literacy and experience with construction management software.
