Project/Construction Management Qualification
10+ years experience in site management/supervision

Overview of duties

• Understanding and familiarity with the conditions of contract and project management in general.
• Complete understanding of scope of work, specifications, drawings and BOQ.
• Manage design, drawings & quality plan for the project.
• Manpower, material, accommodation, plant, and transport planning.
• Responsibility for monitoring capital expenditure and ensuring adherence to engineering standards.
• Management of Sub-Contractors.
• Responsibility for overall personnel safety (OHSA 16.2)
• Timeous completion of project within allocated budget as per contract specifications
• Human capital management, enforcement of discipline and ensuring labour harmony on the project.
• Ensuring productive and profitable utilisation of all resources on site.
• Ability to assess and estimate additional work.
• Attend site meetings.
• Responsible for the correct compilation of monthly progress claims, also prepare monthly costs & progress reports for the project.
• Client liaison and relationship management.
• Maximum profits are achieved from project and relevant records are kept and maintained
• Weekly reporting to COO
• Co-ordinate & evaluate the inputs for all associated discipline in respect of the project.
