About the position

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effective planning of teams, ensuring efficient use of time to be fully productive,ensure targets are reached
• Quality control of physical works and installations on site
• Overseeing of outstanding work per project
• Attending site meetings
• Conducting inspections and compiling reports
• Conducting soil resistivity surveys
• Control installations of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with drawings and site specifications
• On site supervision on various larger projects (may require out of town stays)
• Stock control admin and paperwork
• Vehicle control
• Control of tools
• Ensure compliance with all requirements regarding health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Material costing, timimg , drawings for new contracts
• Complete invoice and test certificates
• Expense sheets
• Ensure all paperwork , turnover figures, submitted to Johannesburg Head Office
• Ensure smooth running of branch

REQUIREMENTS:

• Construction and electrical background advantageous
• Able to read construction drawings
• Own car essential
