As a result of an awarded major EPCM project in Namibia, the client is seeking a proactive Contracts Administrator to be embedded on site, supporting the delivery of a large-scale resources project on a 6:2 roster.

 

 

About the role

  • Act as the primary site-based contracts interface between the client and the client.
  • Support the client in administering construction contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
  • Monitor contractor performance and assist in the evaluation and processing of claims, variations, and progress payments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely contract documentation and correspondence.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams including construction, project controls, and procurement to ensure contract alignment with project execution.
  • Assist in resolving contractual issues and disputes, escalating where necessary to the clients commercial and legal teams.
  • Provide regular reporting to both the client and client stakeholders on contract status, risks, and opportunities.
 

About you

  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration, ideally in a site-based role within EPCM or client-side environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial terms, particularly in remote or international project settings.
  • Experience working directly with clients and contractors in a high-paced site environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract frameworks is highly regarded.
