Overview:
The Contract Support Engineer, reporting to the Contract Manager, is responsible for the delivery of all aspects as per the Client account, including but not limited to; sales enquiries, creating and delivering Integrated Asset Plan with Client, procedure preparation, personnel mobilisations, de-mobilisations both local and international for planned and ad- hoc scopes and any core crew, invoicing and managing aged debt, equipment requirement, Client meetings, planning and co-ordination and technical support.

- Act as the Client’s representative in ensuring any wider company departments deliver as per commitments.
- Provide the first point of technical expertise and response to the Client should any issues arise.
- Build strong relationships with specific Client contacts across all levels as well as develop strong relationships with all personnel internally.
- Promote wider capability in the resolution Client issues to add value to and grow the business.
- Awareness of the Business Forecast Tool associated with the contract.

Internal: Contract Manager, Contract Support Engineers (both back-to-back and working on other Congo contract/s), Technical Superintendent, Project Engineer, QHSE Advisor, Accounts Assistant, Office Manager as well as all other departments and teams as applicable.
External:Assigned Client contacts both on and offshore and technical teams as well as local suppliers and support facilities.

- Ensure that all quality and operational procedures are always adhered.
- Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and
- Provide the day-to-day support to the Client for the delivery of the
- Liaise with core crew and / or Ad-Hoc personnel daily while they are offshore regarding maintenance / operations.
- Arrange and attend Client planning meetings to ensure project planning and mobilisation
- Travel offshore to carry out audits, management visits and surveys
- Where assigned, maintain all maintenance records, routines and correctives with the Client’s Maintenance Management System ensuring scheduling into Client asset plans and timely completion of the required activities.
- Minimize any maintenance backlog and ensure all Safety Critical Maintenance is immediately identified to Client and internally to the responsible person, where applicable in the business line.
- Provide first line technical support and co-ordinate any Client requirements, including
- Draft, review, approve, as appropriate, any procedures, work packs and risk assessments as well as sign off contract Cost Time Resource (CTR’s)
- Compile and manage Client weekly and monthly reports, ensuring all reports are completed and presented to the Client at least monthly.
- Manage the maintenance feedback loop to
- Supervise spares, materials and consumables management where applicable /
- Review and approve invoicing in line with Client
- Track and expedite the Work In Progress (WIP) and aged
- Involved in the development of yearly OPEX and CAPEX budgets for
Essential:
- Experience with managing crane maintenance
- Demonstratable operational experience supporting Client organisations with excellent safety behaviours and focus on Client satisfaction.
- Experience in running multidiscipline projects and the ability to offer solutions to Client problems.
- Drive standards with project delivery to the Client.
- Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills as well as the ability to identify and prioritise critical tasks and attention to detail.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding and good technical crane awareness.
- Proven track record in training and developing others in area of expertise.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred:
- Engineering and / or Project Management
- Demonstrable experience in the management and provision of business line applicable service and understanding of the corresponding legislation (i.e. Safety Case, Document Control Register, Prevention of Fire and Emergency).
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas regulatory bodies and industry
- Lead fault finding investigations were
- Have experience facing and resolving conflict, externally and internally, amicably for all parties
