Content Writer – Marketing
Are you an experienced Content Writer with a passion for creating engaging, high-quality content and strong SEO knowledge? An exciting opportunity is available to join a growing marketing team, producing content across a diverse portfolio of brands and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop written content for websites, programme descriptions, articles, email campaigns, social media, advertisements and marketing materials.
• Create search-friendly content that improves online visibility and supports digital marketing objectives.
• Review, refine and proofread written material to ensure accuracy, readability and consistency.
• Adapt writing style and messaging to suit different brands, audiences and communication channels.
• Conduct research and collaborate with industry specialists and internal stakeholders to ensure content is relevant and factually accurate.
• Incorporate AI-assisted writing tools where appropriate, applying sound editorial judgement and maintaining content quality.
• Manage multiple writing assignments while meeting agreed deadlines and publishing schedules.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the group's content offering.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' professional writing or content creation experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating published writing across relevant digital and marketing platforms.
• Practical experience producing SEO-focused content.
• Excellent written English, with the ability to follow South African/British English conventions.
• Strong editing, proofreading and research capabilities.
• Ability to adapt tone and writing style for different audiences and brands.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment and taking on varied responsibilities.
