About the position
TikTok Content Creator
We're looking for a TikTok Content Creator who can bring sparks to our brand - literally. As a provider of top-quality electrical, electronic, and home services (such as solar, security home setups), we want someone who can turn everyday trade work into engaging, educational, and entertaining short-form videos.
You'll have the chance to grow a loyal community, showcase our work, and highlight the behind-the-scenes life of our electricians, installers, and technical experts - all while riding the wave of TikTok trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, edit, and post TikTok videos that feature real projects, customer installs, and service tips.
- Create content that blends education (how-tos, safety tips, tech explanations) with entertainment (trends, storytelling, humor).
- Feature and interview on-site staff, highlight cool gadgets, and document "a day in the life" of our team.
- Stay on top of TikTok trends, challenges, and audio, and adapt them for the home services space.
- Work closely with our technical team to promote services like CCTV & Gate Motor installations, solar panel setups.
- Manage a posting schedule and track performance through TikTok analytics.
- Respond to comments, engage with followers, and build a trusted brand presence on the platform.
- Repurpose content across Facebook and YouTube Shorts where needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience creating TikTok content (portfolio or TikTok handle required).
- Comfortable filming on-site (in homes, offices, or with technicians), with strong attention to safety and professionalism.
- Natural on-camera presence, with the ability to make technical topics fun and accessible.
- Familiarity with basic video editing tools like CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Rush.
- Strong sense of storytelling and trend adaptation.
- Ability to work independently and manage content pipelines.
Bonus Points For
- Knowledge of electrical/solar/security/home automation industries.
- Experience working with trade or construction brands.
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Understanding of paid media and boosting TikTok content.
- Ability to script and storyboard short-form educational videos.
