About the position
A well-established laboratory equipment and consumables company requires the above to develop technically accurate marketing content tailored to Laboratory Professionals, Procurement teams, Researchers and industry Stakeholders. This role combines content development, graphic design, campaign execution and performance analytics within a B2B technical environment.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred for this role.
- Previous experience having worked in content creation, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Experience in a scientific, technical, or B2B environment is advantageous.
- Must be proficient in digital marketing tools such as email platforms, Mailchimp, social media tools, analytics, Canva, and Photoshop.
- Basic videography or video editing skills will be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Must be computer literate and highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Previous experience working on Syspro is preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing technically accurate marketing content tailored to laboratory professionals, procurement teams, researchers and industry stakeholders. This role combines content development, graphic design, campaign execution and performance analytics within a B2B technical environment.
- Creating written and visual marketing content, including emails, newsletters, presentations, brochures, blog articles, social media posts and press releases.
- Designing engaging layouts and graphics using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ensuring all content aligns with the brand and communicates clearly to a scientific and technical audience.
- Managing audience targeting and basic automation using digital and email marketing platforms.
- Supporting and executing digital marketing campaigns, product launches and promotional initiatives.
- Scheduling, publishing and managing social media content across relevant platforms.
- Assisting with email marketing, website content updates and other digital touchpoints.
- Assisting with the creation of video content for marketing initiatives, product showcases and social media platforms.
- Compiling reports and insights to support data-driven marketing decision-making.
- Collaborating closely with sales teams, product specialists and management to gather content and market insights.
