Content Creator and Social Media Video Editor

About the position

You'll play a key role in crafting and creating high-quality social media first content that aligns with our client's brand voices and objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media platforms, can craft compelling short-form video content, and is proficient in using Adobe, CapCut or other video editing software for efficient and high-quality editing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and edit engaging short-form videos tailored for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Twitter.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts aligned with client content and goals.
• Optimize content for platform-specific algorithms to maximize engagement and reach.
• Work under tight deadlines to produce quick-turnaround content.
• Stay updated on social media trends, popular formats, and editing techniques.
• Repurpose existing content into fresh, shareable formats.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing for social media platforms (please provide a portfolio or examples).
• Proficiency in Adobe, CapCut and familiarity with other editing tools is a plus.
• Strong storytelling skills with a knack for capturing attention in the first few seconds.
