About the position
The consultant will play a critical role to support the Head – Multilateral Affairs / Strategy and Performance Officer in facilitating interaction and cooperation amongst various stakeholders with a view to build synergies, and develop cooperative frameworks
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Work closely with The Head – Multilateral Affairs / Strategy and Performance Officer to define objectives, scope, and deliverables of various projects that The Head – Multilateral Affairs / Strategy and Performance Officer is responsible for. Ensures that there is a clear understanding of what needs to be achieved
- Create detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and dependencies.
- Monitor progress, track milestones, and ensure that project deliverables are completed within specified timeframes.
- Ensures that allocate resources (such as personnel, budget, and equipment) achieve project goals.
- Coordinates team members, contractors, and other stakeholders who are not direct reportees to The Head – Multilateral Affairs / Strategy and Performance Officer
- Maintains open lines of communication with CEO, team members, and other relevant parties.
- Proactively address obstacles and ensure smooth project execution
- Provide strategic support in ensuring successful implementation of the multilateral projects
- Work closely with Head – Multilateral Affairs / Strategy and Performance Officer, government departments, and other relevant stakeholders to drive the strategic objectives of company in line with the national priorities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant commercial or technical Degree or equivalent qualification
- Can work on their own (without a team)
- Feel comfortable in working in a project execution environment with tight deadlines
- Experience in project management
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Documentation skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
