About the position
A well-established financial services business is seeking to appoint a Compliance Officer for a 12 months fixed-term contract
- Develop a system to timeously identify changes in the regulatory environment and ensure that the company responds timeously to such changes
- Draft relevant risk mitigation plans to ensure compliance with legislation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution
- Develop and implement an effective Compliance Program
- Develop and implement a training and monitoring Program
- Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies (NCR, FSCA etc)
Qualifications:
Experience:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a regulatory and legal and compliance environment.
