A leading financial services organisation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join its team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective compliance management framework.
- Conduct compliance monitoring, reviews, file sampling, and control testing.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and regulatory risks.
- Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support on regulatory requirements and legislative changes.
- Manage compliance reporting and engage with relevant governance structures.
- Deliver compliance training and awareness programmes across the business.
- Monitor adherence to applicable legislation, licence conditions, and internal policies.
- Maintain compliance registers, monitoring plans, and risk assessments.

Minimum Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Compliance, Law, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' compliance experience within the Financial Services industry.
- Proven experience in compliance risk management, regulatory monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
- Sound knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to Financial Services Providers.
- FSCA Phase 1 approval as a Compliance Officer will be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), and related regulatory requirements.
- Advanced reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
