About the position

The administrative functions of the below aspects:

Secretarial (40%)

  • Prepare company resolutions and obtaining signatures.
  • Maintain resolution register
  • Communicate with Company Secretaries.
  • Ensure compliance with CIPC regulations.

Compliance (40%)

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (KYC, FIC, POPI etc).
  • Ensure compliance with Banking requirements and reporting.
  • Ensure financial policies and procedures are aligned with statutory regulations and best practices.
  • Assist with bank administration

Taxation (20%)

  • Prepare and submit tax returns including VAT, Dividend, Income Tax, and Provisional Tax to SARS.
  • Manage SARS correspondence, audits, verifications, and objections/disputes.
  • Manage access and updates to SARS e-filing profiles.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the business.
