About the position
Upper Highway - Experienced Company Secretary Administrator required to join a well-established professional financial services environment. Immediate start available for a full-time position based in-office.
Our client is a respected firm in the financial and corporate services sector, offering expert guidance in regulatory compliance and entity administration. They are known for delivering efficient, accurate, and professional services across a varied client base.
The role will focus on full-spectrum company secretarial services, including the administration of companies, trusts, and close corporations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing statutory records, client communication, CIPC interactions, and providing administrative support to ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full company secretarial functions for various entity types
- Administer trusts, including take-ons, amendments, de-registrations, and liaison with the Master of the High Court
- Register, convert, or deregister companies and close corporations
- Manage director/member/auditor/officeholder appointments and resignations
- Administer share allotments, transfers, and buybacks
- Prepare and file special resolutions, statutory returns, and CIPC forms
- Maintain minute books, statutory records, and electronic registers
- Prepare BEE affidavits and factual findings reports
- Liaise with clients, CIPC, and other stakeholders
- Handle general correspondence and switchboard relief
- Issue invoices for services rendered
- Support Know Your Client (KYC) requests and certified documentation
- Assist in portfolio management of company secretarial clients

Requirements:
- Minimum Matric
- Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of the Companies Act and Trust Property Control Act
- Strong working knowledge of CIPC portal and statutory forms
- Experience with GreatSoft (advantageous)
Remuneration:
R25 000 Cost to Company - Subject to experience
