About the position

Postion Summary:
The role is responsible for supporting the maturing and commercialisation of technology of SARAO and other national facilities within the NRF through the creation of an interface between the development teams and the commercial market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy development and analysis for an optimised vale proposition
• Resource support and progress projects through the innovation lifecycle
• Value capture from the innovation lifecycle
• Exploit existing and new funding instruments to enable the innovation lifecycle
• Contribute to lowering the barriers to Economic Opportunity in the Karoo

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree / Advanced Diploma / NQF 7

Minimum Experience:

• 5-5 years

• Degree in Science or Engineering Training in Intellectual Property Management and Technology Commercialisation (Advantageous)Valid Driver’s Licence

Experience:

• 5 years relevant experience in technology management, research and development, technology transfer
• Technology commercialisation (Advantageous)

Knowledge:
