We have a reputable insurance company based in Roodepoort and they are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Underwriter to join their team.
If you are passionate about assessing risks, analyzing data, and ensuring comprehensive coverage for businesses, this could be the perfect role for you.
Requirements:


  • Matric
  • RE 5
  • FETC in Short Term Insurance
  • Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance (ADV)
  • Class of Business in Short Term Insurance Commercial
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Underwriter in the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance policies, underwriting guidelines, and risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Proficiency in using underwriting software and other relevant tools.
  • Sound knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
