About the position
Main Purpose
The company is seeking a Commercial, Technical Analyst to join the after sales team, taking on a strategic role in coordinating effective transformer refurbishment services.
Qualifications and Experience
? Matric
? Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
? Previous experience in a commercial or technical role, preferably related to
transformers or industrial equipment
? Knowledge of SYSPRO/SAP
? Expertise in preparing proposals and technical scopes
Duties and Responsibilities
? Prepare detailed commercial proposals, aligning with customer needs and company
guidelines.
? Coordinate logistical and technical activities from the transformer's return to the factory
until the repair is completed.
? Manage factory inspections, interacting with customers and inspectors to ensure
compliance and quality.
? Develop opening and repair scopes in partnership with the engineering team.
? Oversee activities and workflow management in SAP, ensuring proper tracking and
registration of all stages.
? Estimate and coordinate external services for transformers, ensuring efficient
execution within the company's established standards.
? Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring effective communication
and resolving technical and commercial inquiries.
? Monitor service schedules, ensuring deadlines are met according to the company's
quality standards.
? Develop management reports on project progress and KPIs, focusing on performance
analysis and continuous improvement
