About the position

Red Ember Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a client based in Kempton Park, Gauteng, for a skilled and passionate Coffee Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with technical expertise in coffee equipment who thrives on problem-solving and delivering excellent service.


Key responsibilities:

• Repair and fault-find mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software issues on coffee and beverage machines.
  
• Calibrate, program, and test equipment to ensure top-quality output.
  
• Install new equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
  
• Accurately complete job cards, stock records, and tool checks.
  
• Conduct weekly vehicle inspections and submit reports.
  
• Manage stock orders and car stock to ensure service delivery.
  
• Communicate clearly with clients and managers on-site.
  
• Uphold company values, safety standards, and professionalism.
  
• Work overtime, standby, and weekends as per the roster when required.
  

Requirements

• Minimum: Grade 12 / Matric
  
• Advantageous: N6 Electrical or Mechanical Diploma
  
• Proven track record in the coffee industry
  
• Experience with vending, traditional, and fully automatic coffee machines
  
• Solid understanding of SHEQ practices
  
• Strong time management and administrative skills
