Code 14 Driver - Heavy Haulage - Australia

About the position

We have an opportunity for a Code 14 Driver - Heavy haulage to join our client in Australia. Relocation cost to be covered by the employer. We are looking for MC truck drivers with B-Double, Tripple and Quad trailer truck/ Prime Movers experience. If you are intersted, please read below and apply. 

• Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading


• Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices


• Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles


• Understanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines.


• Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely


• Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight


• Refuelling and cleanliness of allocated equipment.


• Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage


• Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries


• Overnight stays in the truck may be required from time to time


• Daily Prestart checks of Prime Mover Trailer Equipment


• Driver Administration - POD's, Daily Run Sheets ensuring you collect all the critical documents.


• Interstate runs between Perth – Sydney, Perth – Adalaide, Perth – Melbourne, Perth – Brisbane

• Must have minimum 3 years driving experience on similar trucks


• Willingness to relocate to Australia


• Clean communicator and punctual


• Reliable and enthusiastic


• Police Check


• Pre-employment medical including functionality testing and Drug Alcohol testing


• Good driving record
