About the position

Job Description:

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Driver/Delivery Man to join our team. The Driver/Delivery Man will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods/products to designated locations.
• Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Load and unload goods/products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation from customers upon delivery.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and making deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, including interior and exterior surfaces.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including courteous interactions with customers and assistance with product inquiries or concerns.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license code 8/10 with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, trucks, or other company vehicles.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and packages.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
