About the position
Our client is seeking an experienced Code 10 Driver to join the Port Elizabeth team,
· Operate vehicles to transport goods or personnel between specified locations.
· Ensure daily inspection of the vehicle, including checking oil, water, tyres, and lights.
· Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle.
· Follow delivery or trip schedules accurately and ensure timely arrivals and departures.
· Load and offload goods as required, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
· Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation (delivery notes, trip sheets, etc.).
· Always adhere to all road traffic laws and company safety procedures.
· Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or delays promptly to management.
· Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with clients, staff, or members of the public.
Requirements· Grade 12
· Valid Code 10 (C1) Driver’s License with valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
· Minimum 2 years of proven experience
· Clean driving record with no major traffic offences.
