About the position
COBOL Knowledge - Understanding of COBOL syntax, structures, and logic to accurately
interpret legacy code for conversion.
Candidates must demostrate: - COBOL projects on résumé. - Work experience at organizations using COBOL.
CCB Experience - Familiarity with Oracle CCB, particularly version 2.6 or similar versions.
Experience in its architecture, functionality, and configuration.
Candidates must demostrate: - Hands-on project experience with Oracle CCB. - Certifications related to Oracle CCB.
Java Development Expertise - Proficiency in Java, especially in converting business logic from COBOL to Java. Experience with Java EE frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
Database Management - Knowledge of the databases used with CCB, typically Oracle DB, and handling changes during migration from COBOL to Java.
