Cobol Analyst Programmer/ Systems analyst

About the position

This is a rare opportunity for an Analyst/Programmer with high business acumen to join a holding company comprising of retail, wholesale and logistic entities. Your strong IT and business knowledge will be well utelised as part of this mature and dedicated team. Potential for growth to C level/ exco definitely exists .

You will join a small, talented development team working on numerous platforms including but not limited to COBOL on MCBA. Any experience with or willingness to learn SQL, CCS, HTML, Java, Java Script, and Python will advantage you.

You will be responsible for the converstion of business requirements into coding specifications, writing of quality code that runs efficiently and is adequately documented and maintaining the system as well as developing new features and functionality, full SDLC . You will interact with various business units within the company. You will deal with all levels of business from warehousing staff to Exco

Qualifications:

• Completed Diploma/ Degree plus minimum five years current cobol development .
