About the position
Precision matters more than speed. Here, your craftsmanship sets the standard. Is this you? What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) Where you'll be doing it What you'll need What you'll get How to apply We appreciate that your CV might not be fully up to date. No problem just send us what you have. We do respond to everyone! Just give us a few days to work through your application.
You take pride in getting things exactly right and enjoy owning your work from start to finish. Detail-focused and hands-on, you're confident working independently but still value being part of a tight-knit production team. You communicate clearly, stay organised under pressure and approach every task with a quality-first mindset.
In this role, you'll take full ownership of a CNC machine, managing everything from job cards and programming to setup, machining and final inspections. Planning jobs, preparing tooling and ensuring top-quality output will be part of your daily rhythm. You will enjoy this because your work is tangible, precise and valued, with every finished component reflecting your skill and attention to detail.
You'll join a growing, forward-thinking engineering environment that specialises in advanced machinery and high-precision components for demanding industries. With a lean structure and direct access to leadership, your contribution will be visible and impactful as the workshop continues to expand.
A Mechanical Engineering Diploma or trade qualification such as Fitter and Turner or Toolmaker is essential, along with 1 to 3 years of CNC machining experience. Confidence in programming, setting and running machines independently is key. You should be able to read technical drawings, use inspection equipment and have basic CAD knowledge. A valid driver's licence and your own transport are required.
In return, you'll receive a market-related salary and the opportunity to deepen your expertise in a growing, high-precision engineering environment where your skills will continue to evolve.
